The theme of the walk was industrial archaeology and the walk was led by Nick Challinor of the Great Orme Exploration Society. Despite heavy rain we examined some sites and learnt about copper mining in Bronze Age and Victorian times.

St. Tudno’s Open Day, 4 August 2018

The Friends of St. Tudno’s welcomed visitors to their annual open day, served refreshments and invited people to explore the church and churchyard. During the day some of the Friends worked in the churchyard to uncover gravestones which had become overgrown.

Friends of St. Tudno’s Pilgrimage, 13 July 2018

About two dozen people took part in the Friends’ Pilgrimage, including some visitors to Llandudno, and Pilgrim Prayers were said along the way.

Great Get Together preparation, Sunday 24 June 2018

The Friends of St. Tudno’s prepared an area of the churchyard and set out food for the picnic which had been brought by people attending the Great Get Together open air service.

The Friends of St. Tudno’s had a busy day preparing the church and churchyard for the summer season. The church was cleaned, benches set out for the open air services, a new rope fitted to the flagpole, litter collected from the churchyard and grass raked.

Carols by Candlelight preparation – 16 & 17 December 2017

During the working party the Friends of St. Tudno’s cleaned the church, put away the benches for winter, raked and removed grass to encourage wildlife in the churchyard – and still had time to enjoy some refreshments!
