The Friends of St. Tudno’s Church cooked a breakfast of bacon baps or veggie burgers after the daybreak Easter Vigil service at St. Tudno’s. As the church has rather limited facilities the cooking was performed with plug in heaters in the porch.

The Friends had a working party to clear out the two very dusty sheds and a large heap of rubbish was disposed of.

The Friends of St. Tudno’s prepared the church on Saturday 22 December, decorating the Christmas trees and setting out the Nativity scene and candles. They continued on Sunday 23 December, putting out path lights, taking part in the services and clearing up afterwards.

St. Tudno’s has very limited catering facilities (power points and one cold tap!) so hot drinks after services or other events had been served in disposable cups. We were concerned about single-use materials so the Friends have donated some colorful, unbreakable, stacking cups which can easily be taken home for washing. They are […]
The Friends of St. Tudno’s autumn working party was held on Saturday 20 October. The church was cleaned and tidied, the outside benches put away and cut grass raked and removed. Refreshments were enjoyed in the sunshine!

The Friends of St. Tudno’s welcomed Year 5 from Ysgol San Sior to St. Tudno’s. The children explored the church and churchyard and enjoyed taking rubbings from grave stones.

The Friends’ Eucharist was held at St. Tudno’s and was followed by the AGM at the Rectory. As this was the Friends’ 10th anniversary the afternoon tea after the AGM included a birthday cake and the afternoon finished with the annual slide show of events at St. Tudno’s.

The Friends of St. Tudno’s arranged a concert by Delyth and Angharad Jenkins “DnA”, playing Celtic harp and fiddle, respectively. The concert was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended. The Friends served refreshments during the interval, while the audience had a chance to chat with the performers.
