St. Tudno’s Churchyard is part of Llandudno in Bloom’s judging route for Wales in Bloom. The judge met some of the Friends of St. Tudno’s, who manage the churchyard, inspected the churchyard and was shown a display of “A year in the churchyard”. The display will remain in the church throughout the summer.
The Friends of St. Tudno’s held a working party after the open air service and performed various jobs to tidy the churchyard. Two of the Friends had already searched for and recovered a particular gravestone which had become lost under the grass.
The Holy Trinity Troughs Team entered the RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme. The assessor met some of the team and learnt about their gardening at Holy Trinity. The team also entered Llandudno in Bloom.
The Friends of St. Tudno’s entered the churchyard in the RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme and the assessor visited St. Tudno’s to meet the Friends and view the churchyard.
Members of the Friends’ Committee went on a “recce” to prepare for the Pilgrimage. This included sampling lunch at Y Maes Cafe at Llandanwg!
The concert by Parkside Male Voice Choir on Sunday 21 July will begin at 8.00 pm. The concert by Macclesfield Male Voice Choir on Sunday 4 August will begin at 8.00 pm, finishing by 10.00 pm. The Pilgrimage will be to churches and other places of interest in the Harlech area. We will leave Holy Trinity Church at 9.00 am and will be travelling by car and stopping for coffee, lunch and tea are interested in joining us, please Contact Us for further information. Open air services will be held each Sunday at 12.00 noon and a free taxi will depart from Holy Trinity Church at 11.30 am. On Sunday 7th and Sunday 21st the service will include a simple celebration of Communion. If the weather is poor the services will be held in the church. Compline by Candlelight will be on Tuesday 2 July at 7.30 pm. There will be a Friends of St. Tudno’s working party in the churchyard after the service on Sunday 7 June, to prepare for Wales in Bloom judging on Tuesday 9 July.
