St. Tudno’s services and events, August 2019

Open Air Services will be held each Sunday at 12.00 noon and a free taxi will depart from Holy Trinity Church at 11.30 am. On Sunday 4th and Sunday 18th the service will include a simple celebration of Communion. If the weather is poor the services will be held in the church.

Pilgrim Prayers will be said every Monday – Saturday at 12.00 noon. These are beautiful Celtic prayers for the 21st century and last about 20 – 30 minutes.

The Friends of St. Tudno’s Open Day will be on Saturday 3 August from 10.00 am till 5.00 pm. The Friends will be serving refreshments, there are displays on the church and churchyard and the churchyard information book can be consulted (please note, this does not include the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery).

Compline by Candlelight will be on Tuesday 6 August at 7.30 pm. This is a lovely, quiet service and a chance to reflect in the candlelit church.

A Guitar Concert by Stuart Ironside will be held on Friday 16 August at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £8.00 on the door and include tea / coffee and cakes during the interval. Stuart is a very talented young musician and will be playing a wide variety of musical styles. Combined with the atmosphere and acoustics of St. Tudno’s this promises to be a wonderful evening.

The Open Air Songs of Praise service will be on Sunday 18 August at 4.00 pm. People are invited to choose and introduce favourite hymns on the theme of love. Please contact us if you would like to choose a hymn.
