On Thursday 13 October there was a Soup and Screen Night in Holy Trinity Church Hall, organised by Llandudno Christian Aid Committee. This was held as part of the Speak Up week for action on climate change. A meal of hearty vegetarian soups, followed by fruit pies, was served after which the film The Age of Stupid was shown. This stared Pete Postlethwaite as a man living in a devastated world in 2055, looking back on our time and wondering why we did not stop climate change when we had the chance. Donations were made to Christian Aid.
