It’s Your Neighbourhood award for St. Tudno’s, September 2019

Congratulations to the Friends of St. Tudno’s for a “Thriving” award in the RHS It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme. The churchyard is managed to encourage wildlife and a highlight this year was a large population of cinnabar moth caterpillars. The photographs show some of the wildlife spotted during late summer.

Wales in Bloom judging at St. Tudno’s, 9 July 2019

St. Tudno’s Churchyard is part of Llandudno in Bloom’s judging route for Wales in Bloom. The judge met some of the Friends of St. Tudno’s, who manage the churchyard, inspected the churchyard and was shown a display of “A year in the churchyard”. The display will remain in the church throughout the summer.

Open air services at St. Tudno’s Church, summer 2019

The season of open air services at St. Tudno’s is now under way. The services are held at the new time of 12.00 noon and include a simple Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. A free taxi departs from Holy Trinity at 11.30 am.

The annual St. Tudno’s Day Pilgrimage Walk from Holy Trinity Church to St. Tudno’s Church was held in showery weather and was followed by a Eucharist service at St. Tudno’s church. We were delighted to be joined for both events by the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Mrs. Angela O’Grady.
