On Sunday 29 October the Revd. Prebendary John Nice celebrated his last Sung Eucharist as Rector of Llandudno. Fr. John has now retired after 13 years as incumbent. Members of the parish gathered to wish him and Gaynor well and presentations were made on behalf of the parish, while the Mayor and Mayoress of Llandudno made a presentation on behalf of Llandudno Town Council.
The service included dedication of a “new” stained glass window in memory of Dorothy and Kenneth Trent. The glass came from the former Church of St. Augustine, Cheadle Heath, Stockport. Some of the glass from this church had already been fitted in the west window at Holy Trinity.
After the service there was a reception in the church hall and Fr. John and Gaynor cut a beautiful cake which had been made by one of the parishioners.
