Year 5 pupils from Ysgol San Sior visited St. Tudno’s to explore the church and churchyard. They learnt about the history of the church, looked for signs of wildlife in the churchyard and examined Victorian graves in particular. Members of the Llandudno Branch of Soroptimists International held a service at St. Tudno’s to mark the International Day of Peace.
On Saturday 9 September the Friends of St. Tudno’s Church held a coffee morning in Holy Trinity church hall. The Friends have been raising money towards the new screen door which have recently been fitted at St. Tudno’s Church.

St. Tudno’s annual open air Songs of Praise service was held on the afternoon of Sunday 27 August. Members of the congregation chose and introduced a number of mostly well known hymns – but one was new to all except its chooser and had to be practiced before the service!

On Sunday 6 August the Rector took his last open air Morning Service at St. Tudno’s before his retirement at the end of October.
The orchestra performed a wonderful concert at Holy Trinity, which was much enjoyed by all who attended.
The annual open day at St. Tudno’s was held on Saturday 5 August and had the theme “Exploring the Churchyard” to promote the new churchyard trail leaflets. Visitors enjoyed following the trails, while refreshments were served in the church.

St. Tudno’s churchyard was one of the sites visited by the Britain in Bloom judges during their tour of Llandudno. The Friends of St. Tudno’s explained how the churchyard is managed for wildlife conservation and showed the judges a display in the church of “A year in the churchyard”.
