My recent pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham has set me up well to write about Mary, the Mother of the Lord as we prepared to celebrate her feast day this month.

Friends of St. Tudno’s Pilgrimage, 6 July 2017

The Friends’ Pilgrimage this year was to the Lleyn Peninsula. Near Aberdaron members of the group visited Ffynnon Fair or Mynydd Mawr before re-joining for lunch in Aberdaron. Services were held in St. Hywyn’s Church, Aberdaron and St. Pedrog’s Church, Llanbedrog. The photograph shows the service in St. Hywyn’s Church.

Wales in Bloom judging, 11 July 2017

The parish contributed to Llandudno’s entry in Wales in Bloom. The judge visited St. Tudno’s churchyard, where he was told about the wildlife conservation policy, and also saw displays on the other churchyards at the Bloom “marketplace”.

Archdeacon celebrates 20 years, 2 July 2017

On Sunday 2 July some of our congregation joined Archdeacon Paul when he celebrated 20 years since his ordination as a priest. The service was held at St. Cwyfan’s Church and refreshments were served outside the church after the Eucharist service.

Rector celebrates 40 years, 1 July 2017

On Saturday 1 July the Rector of Llandudno, Fr. John Nice, celebrated 40 years since his ordination as a priest. A Eucharist service was held in Holy Trinity and the Rector was joined by family, friends, parishioners and other priests from the diocese. The photograph shows the procession of visiting clergy.
