On Thursday 22 December the handbell ringers performed some carols during the carol singing around Holy Trinity’s outdoor Christmas tree.
The beginning of a new year is a time to look forward to new challenges and opportunities. 2017 presents our parish with a specific challenge and opportunity. Last September the Bishops of the Church in Wales issued a pastoral letter to all the members of the Church in Wales declaring that from Advent […] The Handbell ringers took part in the 4.30 pm service of Carols by Candlelight at St. Tudno’s Church on Sunday 18 December.
The bellringers wish a very happy Christmas and peaceful new year to all bellringers everywhere. […] The Friends began preparation on Saturday 17 December, fitting some of the outdoor benches in the church to provide extra seating, decorating the Christmas trees and the church and setting out the candles. The friends returned the next morning, before the services, to put out lights by the paths. Friends were also involved […] Three services were held at St. Tudno’s on Sunday 18 December, which enabled everyone attending to be seated safely and comfortably. The 3.00 pm service was attended by 68 people, with music provided by Holy Trinity Choir. At 4.30 pm there were 98 people and they enjoyed listening to the Holy Trinity Handbell […] The November Sunday service at St. Tudno’s was an Advent Reflection on the 27th. The service was led by the Friends of St. Tudno’s and was followed with hot drinks and cakes.
The Christmas tree in Holy Trinity’s grounds was lit at the beginning of December. Carol singing around the tree will be on Thursday 22 December at 7.00 pm. The service was held on Sunday 4 December and during the service everyone lined the aisles with their lit Christingles while Away in a manger was sung in the darkened church.
