On Saturday 20 May there was a coffee morning for Christian Aid in the church hall from 10.00 am – 1.30 pm. Many thanks to all who supported this. Holy Trinity was in the centre of the Llandudno Extravaganza at the May bank holiday weekend. Refreshments were served in the church hall on the Saturday and the car park team was busy ensuring as many people could park as possible.
[…] During Lent 2017 there were weekly services of Compline held jointly with Aberconwy Mission Area. The services were followed by discussions reflecting on the Eucharist. On Wednesday 26 April a Eucharist service was held for those who had attended the Lent group and the Eucharist was concelebrated by the priests present. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers and the Easter Garden. The wooden cross which had formed a focus at services throughout Lent was transformed into a cross of flowers.
April 20th, 2017 | Category: TrinityPrevious | Leave a comment At 12.00 noon the Cytûn (Churches Together) Open Air Service was held in the church grounds and was led by Cytûn President Revd. Mike Harrison. The Liturgy of the Cross was held at 2.00 pm.
[…] The Eucharist service in the evening included the Washing of Feet and ended with the stripping of altars. However the altar in the Memorial Chapel formed the Altar of Repose for the Watch. This finished with Compline at 9.50 pm, after which this altar was stripped too.
[…] Two services were held on the evening of Tuesday 11 April. Stations of the Cross reflected on a series of sonnets by Malcolm Guite and this was followed by a Table Eucharist in the Memorial Chapel.
[…] The 10.30 am service included a palm procession around the church led by a donkey and the Sunday School. Members of the congregation enjoyed meeting the donkey before the service.
[…] Each week during Lent, the 10.30 am service began with a member of the congregation laying before the cross an object which represented the theme of that week’s service and these were added to each week.
On Thursday 16 February 2017 the new floodlights at Holy Trinity were switched on. The two lights were switched on by the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Carol Marubi, and Mrs. Joyce Crosby, representing the church’s Mustard Seed Card and Book Shop which had donated much of the costs.
