The Trinity Players started life
in 1996 as a mixture of singers from the Holy Trinity Church Choir and
some friends from the former Llandudno Operatic Society.
We had decided to produce a concert in a marquee on the church
lawn that had been left over from a previous function. This was
such a success that we planned a series of summer concerts in the
church to raise money for charity. The Trinity Players were born.
Over the past 15 years, the Players have raised more
than £90,000 for local charities and donated sums such as
£1,000 towards the recent Haitian disaster appeal, as well as
playing to audiences totalling more than 30,000 during that time.
In 2009 we decided
to lower our
price from £6 to £5 to assist our audience in view of the
current recession.
The Trinity Players are proud to
present their 2011
season.
We invite you to join us for an
evening of music, laughter and audience participation (that's where you
get to join in!).
The mix of songs from the great musicals and the timeless classics of
the '50s and '60s is as exciting and alluring as ever.
So come along and join us and have a wonderful time! We promise
you won't be disappointed. See you soon!
Make yours a visit
to remember and spend an evening laughing and singing with us.
You won't regret it!
If you are interested in joining
the Trinity Players or would like any other information, please contact the
Rector.
On Sunday evenings during the summer, there is a series of concerts by
visiting Male
Voice Choirs.
Christmas Concert
The Trinity
Players performed a concert of Christmas songs on Tuesday
7 December 2010 in aid of Help for Heros. Entry cost
£2.00 and included mulled wine and mince pies and the evening
raised more than £300 for the charity. The
programme included Christmas carols and songs (with opportunities
for audience participation) and humorous readings and the Trinity
Players were joined by some young people from a local drama
school.
N.B. Holy Trinity has its own "Pay & Display" car park which
can
be accessed in or out at the rear of the Church. It is available
for
use every day of the week, with Sunday mornings being reserved for
those attending services and the "Pay & Display" operating from 1pm.
