Events during 2013
Carols by Candlelight 2013
The annual services were held on
Sunday 22 December at 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm and both services were well
attended. There were two
services as the service is very popular but the church is small.

Church Open Day
On Saturday 7 September the
Friends

information from 10.00 am - 5.00 pm. There were talks on the
history of the church and its saint and a slideshow of old
pictures. Tours of the churchyard were offered but were not
held due
to bad weather. Refreshments were served throughout the day and
there
will be some stalls, including Friends of St. Tudno’s souvenirs and
cards. The Books of Sponsors from the successful Sponsor-a-Slate
campaign were available for consultation, as were the churchyard
records. The Friends are currently raising

Thursday 15 August members of the Great Orme Exploration Society

evening ended with tea and cakes.
Classical
Guitar and Poetry Evening
On Friday 9 August we were
delighted to welcome classical
guitarist Jonathan Richards and poet Deborah Barker for a concert at
St. Tudno’s. Jonathan played four sets, including sarabandes
and
blues, and Deborah recited two sets of her poems. Refreshments
were served in the churchyard during the interval and with the
wonderful acoustics and
atmosphere of the ancient church, this was a very enjoyable
evening. The photograph show the Rector thanking Deborah and
Jonathan after the concert.
