Bell Ringers

Welcome to Holy Trinity Bell Tower Holy Trinity bells logo

We have an active band of bellringers at Holy Trinity Church in the Parish of Llandudno and anyone younger or older is welcome to join us to learn this ancient, enjoyable and skilful activity.

Visitors, and visiting bellringers, are always welcome. We practice on Friday evenings which is convenient for anyone having a weekend break in Llandudno, this most pleasant of North Wales resorts.

A quarter peal of Cambridge Surprise Major 1280 was successfully rung by members of the N. Wales Association on 9 January  and we are so pleased that they allowed us to dedicate it to Norman Rimmer, Director of Music at Holy Trinity, for his award of the British Empire Medal for services to music.

The  bell ringers used to ring the New Year in at midnight on New Year’s Eve but had difficulty getting sufficient ringers. In recent years we have therefore rung at noon on New Year’s Day and this year we did so again.
