Friends of St. Tudno’s Pilgrimage, Friday 19 July 2019

The Pilgrimage will be to churches and other places of interest in the Harlech area. We will leave Holy Trinity Church at 9.00 am and will be travelling by car and stopping for coffee, lunch and tea are interested in joining us, please Contact Us for further information.

St. Tudno’s services and events, July 2019

Open air services will be held each Sunday at 12.00 noon and a free taxi will depart from Holy Trinity Church at 11.30 am. On Sunday 7th and Sunday 21st the service will include a simple celebration of Communion. If the weather is poor the services will be held in the church.

Great Get Together preparation, Sunday 23 June 2019

The Friends prepared for the Great Get Together picnic by trimming the grass and setting out tables decorated with the Great Get Together red and white gingham.

Friends of St. Tudno’s geology tour, 15 June 2019

Each year the Friends of St. Tudno’s organise a guided walk on the Great Orme, led by a local expert. This year the subject was churchyard geology and geologist Martin Trevelyan-Jones told us about the various rocks from which headstones in the churchyard had been made.

GOES visit to St. Tudno’s churchyard, 13 June 2019

The Friends of St. Tudno’s welcomed members of the Great Orme Exploration Society (GOES) to St. Tudno’s for a tour of the churchyard. The Friends told stories of some of the people buried in the churchyard and the (rather cold!) evening finished with hot drinks and cakes in the church.

The season of open air services at St. Tudno’s is now under way. The services are held at the new time of 12.00 noon and include a simple Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. A free taxi departs from Holy Trinity at 11.30 am.

The annual St. Tudno’s Day Pilgrimage Walk from Holy Trinity Church to St. Tudno’s Church was held in showery weather and was followed by a Eucharist service at St. Tudno’s church. We were delighted to be joined for both events by the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Mrs. Angela O’Grady.
