See poster below. Compline by Candlelight is on Tuesday 14 August at 7.30 pm. On Wednesday 15 August the Friends of St. Tudno’s have organised a guided walk on industrial archaeology of the Great Orme. […] Congratulations to Holy Trinity and St. Tudno’s for wining awards for the churchyards. Holy Trinity has been awarded Gold* in the churches category in the Llandudno in Bloom competition. Members of the congregation and 1st Llandudno Guides have adopted troughs or planters around the church and worked hard to keep them […] The Friends of St. Tudno’s welcomed visitors to their annual open day, served refreshments and invited people to explore the church and churchyard. During the day some of the Friends worked in the churchyard to uncover gravestones which had become overgrown. […] About two dozen people took part in the Friends’ Pilgrimage, including some visitors to Llandudno, and Pilgrim Prayers were said along the way. At Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch the Friends were given a tour of the church with its beautiful Jesse Window, walked to St. Dyfnog’s Well and saw pottery demonstrations at the Anvil […] The Wales in Bloom judge visited St. Tudno’s churchyard during his tour of Llandudno. The Friends of St. Tudno’s Church had just received a Communities Green Flag Award for their work in the churchyard and the judge, Mr. Jim Goodwin, raised the flag for the first time. […] The judges for the International Communities in Bloom competition visited St. Tudno’s churchyard as part of their tour of Llandudno. They learnt about the work of the Friends of St. Tudno’s in managing the churchyard for wildlife and saw a display in the church on “A year in the churchyard”. […] image description |
