The Eucharist service at Holy Trinity included Candlemass celebrations and we were delighted to be joined by members of St. Padarn’s Institute, the training organisation for ministry in the Church of Wales, who were taking part in a residential weekend in Llandudno.
[…] We were delighted to welcome Bishop Andy of Bangor, the clergy and people of the diocese to Holy Trinity for a special service to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Bishop’s enthronement. The preacher was Dean Cathy and a combined choir from Holy Trinity and Cantamus Chamber Choir sang Evensong. After the service […] The Nativity scene was placed in front of the nave altar and figures were placed there during the Crib Service, with the baby Jesus added during the midnight Communion service. The figures of the wise men were added at Epiphany. The church was beautifully decorated with a tree and flower arrangements. […] The Crib and Christingle service was held on Christmas Eve and included a “no rehearsal Nativity” in which all children who wanted to could take part. The congregation also took part, calling out “Amazing! Wow!” at appropriate times and waving their arms. A lot of carols were sung and the service ended with […] Carols were sung around the Christmas tree at Holy Trinity on Thursday 20 December. Due to inclement weather this was the tree in the church instead of the tree in the grounds. The carols were accompanied by Beulah Brass and two carols were played by Holy Trinity Handbell Ringers.
[…] The Llandudno Christmas Fayre was held in the streets around Holy Trinity, with stalls in the church grounds and church hall as well and entertainment enjoyed by people of all ages.
Members of the congregation welcomed visitors to the church – including an unusual visitor! […] Holy Trinity Church was full for the Civic Service for Remembrance. Following the service the Parade formed up opposite the church, to march to the Cenotaph.
[…] Junior Church meets in the Memorial Chapel at 9.30 am on Sundays and welcomes all families and young people – push chairs and bikes can be brought in easily through the side door. The worship lasts for half an hour and is followed by squash, biscuits and time to chat and make new […] The annual arts weekend in Llandudno (LLAWN) included an installation of bell horns in Holy Trinity’s grounds: “Ring Out” by award winning sound artist Ray Lee. It was very musical and spectacular with eight giant metal towers, each 5 metres tall.
