Friends of St. Tudno’s Pilgrimage, 13 July 2018

About two dozen people took part in the Friends’ Pilgrimage, including some visitors to Llandudno, and Pilgrim Prayers were said along the way.

At Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch the Friends were given a tour of the church with its beautiful Jesse Window, walked to St. Dyfnog’s Well and saw pottery demonstrations at the Anvil Pottery.

After lunch at the Ponderosa Cafe and a drive through Horseshoe Pass, the Friends visited Valle Crucis Abbey, where Vicar Andrew borrowed the costume of a Cistercian Monk and talked about the history of the Abbey.

The final stop on the Pilgrimage was Llantysilio, near Llangollen. Some walked from the church to Horseshoe Falls and the Pilgrimage ended with Pilgrim Prayers in the church with members of Llantysilio’s congregation, who kindly served refreshments afterwards.
