There will be two working parties to prepare St. Tudno’s for the summer season: Friday 12 May and Saturday 13 May, both from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Jobs to be tackled include raking and removing the cut grass to encourage wildlife, clearing litter, cleaning the church and setting out the benches. Refreshments will be available and there will be jobs suitable for all. Anyone who would like to take part will be very welcome.
The first open air service will be on Sunday 28 May at 11.00 am.
On Wednesday 12 April there will be a service of Light and Shadows at 7.00 pm and this will be a joint service with Aberconwy Mission Area. This is a very moving service which begins by candlelight but during the service the candles are gradually extinguished, finishing with the old Paschal Candle so that the service ends in darkness.
On Sunday 16 April the Easter Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Tudno’s at 5.30 am. This beautiful service begins with lighting the new Paschal Candle from a new fire and includes renewal of baptismal vows and the first Eucharist of Easter.
The service will be followed by breakfast of bacon baps. If you would like breakfast it would be helpful if you would sign the list in St. Tudno’s Church or Holy Trinity Church, and indicate if you would like a vegetarian option, or you can contact St. Tudno’s here. If you would like a lift from Llandudno please indicate this on the form, too.
The Church in Wales now invites everyone who has been baptized (christened) in water in the name of the Trinity to receive Communion in its churches. For more information please see Receiving Communion in our Churches.
During winter services are held at St. Tudno’s once a month, please see the Services page for details. There is no heating at St. Tudno’s but the welcome will be warm and hot drinks and cakes are served after the services.
