The Baptism of Infants and Children
The baptism of infants and children normally takes place at 12.30 am on Sundays in Holy Trinity Church. Please contact the Rector by telephone on 01492 876624 to arrange a date. He will do his best to arrange the ceremony to fit in with your plans but can’t guarantee that any particular Sunday will be available. It is also possible to arrange for your child to be baptised during the 10.30 am Sunday morning service at Holy Trinity or the 11.00 am at St. Tudno’s Church (seasonal).
When you have discussed the date with the Rector you should download, print, complete and return the following form.
Please send your completed application form as soon as possible to:
The Rev Prebendary John Nice BA
Llandudno, LL30 2HL
The booking will not be confirmed until the form is received.
The Rector will arrange to meet you to discuss the meaning of baptism and the details of the service. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If any of the god-parents are available they are also encouraged to attend this meeting. Prior to this meeting please read the Church in Wales teaching about baptism – see link below – and note that both you and the god-parents will be renewing your own Christian commitment during the service.
The Baptism of Adults
Adults wishing to be baptised are asked to contact the Rector by telephone on 01492 876624 to discuss their preparation for the sacrament and possible dates for the ceremony.
