We have an active band of
bellringers at Holy
Trinity Church
in the Parish
of Llandudno and anyone younger or
older is welcome to join us to learn this ancient, enjoyable and
skilful activity.
Visitors, and visiting bellringers, are always welcome. We
practice
on Friday evenings which is convenient for anyone having a weekend
break in Llandudno, this
most pleasant of North Wales resorts.
N.B. Holy Trinity has its
own "Pay & Display" car park which
can be accessed in or out at the rear of the Church. It is
available for use every day of the week, with Sunday mornings being
reserved for those attending services and the "Pay & Display"
operating from 1pm.

Ringing
in the New Year 2016
We used to ring the New Year in at midnight on New Year's Eve but had
difficulty getting sufficient ringers. In recent years we have
therefore rung at noon on New Year's Day and this year we did just that.
Sunday
20 December. The handbell ringers
took part in Carols by Candlelight at St. Tudno's Church and there is
another photograph on the St. Tudno's
page.
Friday 18 December. The handbell ringers performed some
carols during carol singing around the Christmas tree in Holy Trinity's
grounds, as part of the Christmas Tree Festival (see Special
Events page).
The
bells were restored in 2002 and more details of this and the history of
the bells can be found at History
of the bells
The last ring before the bells
were lowered, 11 August 2002. Left to right: Ann Thomas,
Lynn Ferriday, Joan Edwards, Sue Calvert, Enid Horsfield, John
Horsfield, Sid Burrows (a visitor aged 92 - we were always pleased to
see him, sadly he died 1/8/2006 aged 96), Stan Whittaker (Tower
Captain), Peter Goodwin, James Whittaker.
