On 8 February 2017 presentations were made to three local charities: Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice, St. David’s Hospice and 418 Aberconwy Squadron Air Training Corps. Each charity received one third of the car park takings from the week before Christmas 2016 – one of the busiest weeks of the year.
On 10 January Mothers’ Union members and friends enjoyed a meal out at Maesdu Golf Club.

At the Epiphany service on 6 January the Nativity scene was completed with the addition of the figures of the Magi.

The Friends began preparation on Saturday 17 December, fitting some of the outdoor benches in the church to provide extra seating, decorating the Christmas trees and the church and setting out the candles.
