St. Tudno’s working parties, May 2017

The Friends of St. Tudno’s Church held two working parties, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May, to prepare the church and churchyard for the summer season. The church was cleaned, benches set out for the open air service and cut grass raked to encourage wildlife. Archdeacon Paul of Bangor visited the working party on the Friday and launched the new churchyard tour.

My name is Ian Carline, sadly my uncle Christopher Morris passed away on Tuesday 20/03/18 and his wish is for his last remains ( ashes ) to be scattered in the church of St Tudnos . Would this be possible?. Kind regards, Ian.

Thank you for your message, Ian. I am sorry to say that the Church in Wales Regulations for Churchyards do not permit the scattering of ashes in churchyards. It might be that there are ashes plots available in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery but you would need to contact the Cemeteries Department of Conwy County Borough Council about this.
